カーネルパニックが頻発するようになってしまいました

このような場所で質問させていただくのが初めてで何を記載したらよいのかわかっておりません……。通知すべき情報があれば教えて下さい。

LionからMavericksへアップデートしてからしばらく経ったのですが、これまでに、Chromeでタブを切り替えたり、文字を入力しようとする際にレインボーマークが頻出することを確認しておりました。その際にfontdのプロセスのcpu使用率が一時的に100%近くに上昇するのを確認しております。

また、音量を調節するとプロセスのcoreaudiodが毎回上昇し、確認音とタイムラグが生じたり、そもそもどこからも音が出ず何度も音量調節を繰り返さないと音が出ないことが多々あります。

そして本日から一時間に一回以上の頻度でカーネルパニックが発生しており困り果てています。

私感ですがChromeを使っているときに落ちていると思われます。

キャッシュのクリア、SMCクリア、メモリーのチェック、セーフモードで起動、ディスクユーティリティでのメンテナンスなどを行いましたが改善も発見も叶いませんでした。

Time MachineでLion時の環境をバックアップしているのですが、アップデート後に増えたデータや編集したデータがかなりありますので丸々戻すということは酷く気が引けてしまいます。

なんとか解決に向けてあがけないものでしょうか。お知恵を拝借させてください。よろしくお願い致します。
