I'm not sure when it started, but Touch ID stopped working and the preferences greyed out probably after updating to Ventura.
Restarting iMac didn't work.

別アカウント作成すると、Apple IDを作成していないからか設定メニューにTouch IDが出てきませんでした。
再度関連情報を読み、「キーボードの再起動と再接続」を試したところ、グレーアウト表示が解除されました。

iMac（24-inch, M1, 2021）を「セーフモード」で起動した状態でログイン した場合も、同様でしょうか？
（確認後、iMac を再起動して下さい）
別のユーザアカウント（管理者アカウント。 無い場合は、新規作成）にログインし直し た場合でも同様でしょうか？
